Dionna McMillian is a director, editor, and digital imaging technician (D.I.T). in Los Angeles, California.

Dionna is known for her short comedy film "Love, New York,"—featured on Issa Rae’s, Short Film Sundays, and mentioned in Forbes and Business Insider. She also directed, "The Next Right Thing," a digital comedy pilot. Additionally, her film "Such A Deal" won Best Comedy Short at multiple film festival. Dionna has also directed commercials, and multi-cam television.

In addition to her work as a director, Dionna works as an editor, assistant editor and D.I.T. She has worked on a variety of projects, including feature films and documentaries. Her clients include Adidas, META, TikTok, and Apple. She has also taught editing at the collegiate level. She’s lectured at top film schools, including Chapman University and Brooklyn College. She also taught internationally as a guest lecturer in Mumbai, Beijing, and Doha, Qatar.

Dionna holds an M.F.A in Film and Electronic Media from American University, and a B.A. with a major in Sociology and Political Science from Alabama State University. In her free time, Dionna enjoys playing tennis, hiking, and learning random trivia facts.
